CAPTAIN JEFF TURNER

Captain Jeff w/some beautiful fish!!

Captain Jeff Turner grew up fishing all the fresh water lakes, rivers, and farm ponds of central Texas at a very early age. He began fishing the Galveston Bay system for redfish, trout and flounder some 25 years ago and for the last ten years he has been cruising the waters of the Laguna Madre from Landcut to the Mansfield jetties and all areas south fishing for trophy trout, redfish, flounder and drum. Captain Turner utilizes one of the very best bay boats ever built a 2006 year model 24 foot Dargel Scout equipped with an environmentally friendly four stroke 225 horsepower Suzuki outboard to get you to that early morning bite quickly and to return you to the dock effortless and safe after a wonderful day of fishing. Captain Turner enjoys fishing either with live/fresh bait

(A-OK) (the bait wells on the boat are equipped with an on board oxygen system) when available or with artificial bait whichever the client prefers or any combination of baits; if the client prefers natural live bait such as shrimp, mullet, croaker, etc. which are available at Harbor Bait & Tackle the cost for the bait would be in addition to the normal guide fee. Captain Turner enjoys drift fishing (24 foot boat plenty of room) with popping corks and shrimp or artificial baits, or if the client prefers, wade fishing is great with either type of baits or if you prefer a lazy day anchored and fishing that is ok also. It does not matter what type of fishing you like Captain Turner wants you to have a memorable and enjoyable outing on the Laguna Madre. What type of fishing do you enjoy and how would you like to do it?
