August 15, 2008
Fished north drifting over deep grass with popping corks and gulp shrimp. Most fish were short striking the baits and most that were caught were dink trout. We did manage some nice trout drifting north by the spoils.
Saturday
August 16, 2008
Fished north, but today we started shallow for reds. We found lots of nice redfish with a couple of keeper trout mixed in. We did manage one jackfish that put up a pretty good fight. We left the redfish and went in search for trout. We were unable to find any trout that were willing to cooperate. We did have a good box of reds.
